Indiana State REIA's Board of Directors

Chuck Wright, Lebanon
Founding Board President, Indiana State REIA

I have over 40 years in Real Estate investment, construction, entitlement and land development.  My life long passion has been land development.

Married with four (4) grown children and 4 grand children.  I am a graduate of Michigan State University with a Professional Civil Engineer license in the State of Indiana. Experienced in retail, commercial land entitlement, development and construction with 15yrs at Marsh Supermarkets as Engineering Manager, then promoted to Director of Construction and Civil Design until 2001.  With an entrepreneurial drive to business I started a custom home company in Carmel that lead to developing two residential subdivisions in Carmel, Indiana. Have owned and sold various commercial and residential properties in the Indianapolis metro market.  In 2005 I moved to Lebanon Indiana to leverage my expertise and purchased Anderson Surveying and added civil engineering to the business profile.  I have been a member of CIREIA off and on since 2004 and have served as a member various sub groups.  My current project is the platting of a Multi-Family zoned parcel with the intent to construct 4-5 duplexes.  In this current economy I am in the buy and hold market and dabble in Land Contract purchases and sales.  A new passion of mine is to lobby the State Legislature on behalf of the small ‘Mom & Pop’ real estate investors of Indiana.

I was an Elder at our church and on the building committee when we built a new facility.
Involved in Scouting while our 2 boys became Eagle Scouts.
Since 1995 have been full time in Real Estate Investments.
Mostly rentals, but have also done a lease option, wholesaling, rehabs, and pretty houses.
Member & Vice President of founding board of INstateREIA for the State of Indiana.
Looking to give a couple of houses to long time tenants.
Love to travel in our RV.

Elizabeth Sickels
Indiana State REIA, Realtor, Investor, Airbnb Consultant and Coach

Elizabeth Maora Sickels is a farm girl originally from the east side of Indiana. A Boilermaker (Purdue engineering grad) and Sparty (Michigan State MBA grad) she considers herself a reformed corporate engineer! She had a rewarding corporate career, traveling the world, working with great people from many cultures on some pretty cool projects and of course many 80 - 100 hour work weeks. When she was about to run out of vacation days mid 2016 she decided to take the leap, "retire" from her planning/strategy position at Ford Motor Company to strike out on her own! She traveled for 6 months, and Airbnb'd her condo in Michigan.  Having a great experience being a host (she made Superhost at the first assessment) and also as a guest she decided to build a full service home sharing business.  ?

Elizabeth now resides in Indianapolis, Indiana starting up and running several small businesses, as well as public speaking. She enjoys time on the farm with the family, cooking, church activities, real estate investing, working out and traveling.
